Rømø Local Historical Society & Archive

In 1995 a society was established on Rømø with the mission to collect and preserve photographs, drawings, paintings, documents, books and other witnesses of Rømø’s cultural history.
The archive is located in an old Rømø-House which is owned by the society.
As member of the Local Historical Society you support our volunteer work in the archive and you receive our newsletter with short stories about Rømø’s past.
The archive’s opening hours: Every Tuesday from 14.00 – 16.00 o’clock.
For questions to or about the society or if you want to arrange a visit to the archive outside the regular opening hours please feel free to send us an email. You can write in English.
